Found this at a thrift store and thought it was unique. The front is serpentined and the top and sides are veneered. The drawers are dovetailed. There are no markings and seems to be child size. I want to bring this back to life but the veneer on top is chipped off in a few spots. I wanted to make sure this wasnt anything of value before I paint it. The level is 4 feet long. Can anyone shed some light on what I have? Thanks

I read the "content guidelines". Feel free to tell me what I did that was so "obvious". I'm not asking for an appraisal. I just want help identifying what I have so I can make an informed decision on how to restore this desk. I've never seen a desk like this so I was curious.

Most of us have never seen an upside down desk either. You may have a treasure that was built upside down intentionally.

Posted a different picture. I appreciate a whitty comment as much as the next guy but you obviously don't know much about desks. Its clear the first picture was of a desk floating in an anti-gravity chamber. Just wanted to see if anyone noticed. Congratulations
