Hi! Hoping someone can help me out? I must be crazy, lol, bought this lamp base without a shade - and it needs to be rewired, don't think it has an on/off switch....but the glass on the base looked so cool!! Just wondered if any one has any idea of maker? Or what kind of shade I should be looking for??? Thanks much!

      Sorry,
I have never seen anything like it. Perhaps someone will though, fingers crossed. May we see the rest of the lamp?

Thank you. I think any shade that appeals to you with a 2 & 1/4 inch fitter would work well. Ideally, perhaps something that works well with the glass in the base? It will be interesting to see what others have to say about this interesting little desk lamp.
      Sincerely,
      Lisa

This is the closest I could find - the shade glass may have matched the base glass

I think that your example is much earlier than the one aghcollect found. The level of adjustment possible on your lamp elevates it. I may also have been used on an upright piano as a light to use to read the music. Hence the two adjustments one at the bottom near the base and the other up just under the socket. You could add a paddle switch socket or a little pull chain one. Even look for the type that has the little acorn at the bottom of the chain. They are quite sweet. You could even bead a little pull for the bottom of the chain that would use the colours of the glass in the base and the shade glass? What do you think?
