We own two of these chairs. The price can be found no where. I did find one that looks a little like them listed for $25,000 each.

Search "Falcon Sling Chair designed by Sigurd Ressell for Vatne Mobler" - 1950's-1960's Danish Modern - there are several different styles shown but none of them even come close to 25 grand apiece.

Thank you for your information and your time. How much could these two chairs fetch at auction? Maybe $5,000? Have a nice weekend.

It's very hard to determine from online asking prices and even from value guides what you would get for an item. Selling prices are a bit better, but even those prices can be deceiving. It's best to talk to an auctioneer to get their estimate. If you're considering putting it up for auction online, yourself...you won't get the marketing that the finer auction houses (inclined to sell designer furniture) do to attract the "right buyers" (but you can also do it for a lower cost and cross your fingers). As with any auction, the value is determined by the bidders. I've seen items with low estimates go at seemingly ridiculously high prices because 2 collectors were competing against each other. I've also seen items that would otherwise have high estimates, go for pennies on the dollar (if at all) because they simply did not interest the bidders in the room. If you are trying to get a certain price and you can't wait for it to sell through a retail setting, talk to an auctioneer or two. If you list with them, they will determine the estimated value. If you're taking them to a Pawn Shop, they will determine the value. In short, the buyer determines the value (for them), you decide if you accept their offer. Consider contacting national auctioneers (accustomed to taking online bids) or those in areas that may be likely to spend money on this type of furniture. (I've been to auctions where $100 is a "high bid" regardless of the item (unless it's a vehicle, then the item may bring a few hundred). You don't want to list this in that setting.) Find an auction situation that will allow you to set a reserve if you'd rather not sell than accept payment lower than a certain amount. On the plus side, the ones I see being listed online (even by the same seller) are earning 2-4X as much for like-new leather compared to old-worn leather. Condition is likely to play a big role here (in addition to finding the right market). You know yours is in good condition...at least the part in the photo. Best of luck to you.

The Bukowski auction site gave an indication of price for a single chair:
      Estimate: 2 000 SEK
      FINAL PRICE
      1 600 SEK
      175 EUR

On current exchange rate that is 183.69 US Dollars per chair.

Thank you everyone for all your help. I am sorry I asked for a value. I did not know this site was just for research. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. Thanks again. I will be posting more items that I am not sure of what they are. It would be nice if this site had a Square Payment or some other payment, not Paypal, button so we can send the people that help us a little something. I appreciate all your help...! God Bless...
