From bottom to top (top of boy's head) the clock is 23" tall and 16" wide. Statue is of boy holding a fish attached to a floater. Any information on this clock will be appreciated.

Nice clock. Is this a family heirloom or are you a collector? Thanks for sharing.

Bruce, clock from my wife's father..... has been in her family at least 2 generations. Any information on the clock will be appreciated. I think it is a New Haven clock but I've searched high and low on the internet and can only find similar clocks....but not the exact clock.

Check marks from clock's backplate or rear movement.

It's a New Haven model called the "Fisher Boy" from circa 1889. It looks like it is in excellent condition...at least the Bronze finish does. The statue should have a fishing poll (which he is sort of cradling in his left arm while it is leaning against his raised left knee) as he unhooks the fish. It probably was just held in there without being attached to the statue itself, but I'm not sure. It may have been soldered in place. If so, it would be easy to lose. Do you see any rough spots on the inside of the left wrist, or on the left knee?

It originally listed for $41 (with Bronze Finish).

I didn't find any other examples online either so it may be rare.

Thanks again for sharing your family heirloom.

Look underneath on Marble area (very carefully) IF you can to see if any marks there.....just be very careful....
