Thanks Mani -hope this wasn't a PIAFI (Post It And Forget It), otherwise I just wasted my time.

Wow. I am impressed. Thank you so much!

Thank you for responding - you are missing the reservoir cover part which would have had the patent number on it. The 2 side adornments were of course used as a pen rest.

I am always amazed at what ends up on the front porch of our little Museum. Thanks for the information. I will remember this the next time something odd shows up.

Well, hopefully the next odd item will be the missing piece for this. - Now you know what to look for. - I would have thought the glass part would have been broken or missing. - Why don't you post some items from your museum here? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be interested in seeing them.

We do have several that we would like more information on. I will take look tomorrow when I am there and see what I can dig up. There is one that comes to mind....a mustache cup. Would love to date it somehow. It has a small mark on the bottom but I don't know what it means.

The more pictures the better - you can put four on each posting and if you have a scanner, sometimes the bottom marks come out very clear.

Sounds good. I will give it a try tomorrow. Thanks for the help!
