This is a beautiful delicate sterling silver Art Deco bracelet. It's about 7 1/2" long x 3/8" wide. It has a personal inscription, "Betty, March 28, 1926." (The word Betty is on the link before the date.) Every link is marked Sterling. The very first link also has another crude etched mark underneath the word "sterling." I can't make it out and was hoping for help. I would like to know the maker. Thank you!

Being nosy... did you get this on ebay about a month ago? I think i was betting on one that looked very similar :)

You're welcome to be as nosey as you want! I welcome all comments. But no, I did not. I bought it about 10 or so years ago at a garage sale of all places. I can almost remember the house because I discovered the inscription after I got home. I almost didn't buy it because it first looked like junk. But that color of green is my birthstone color (August).

I should probably add that it was in a basket with a lot of plastic 1980's jewelry so that's probably why it got ignored. I realized what it was after giving it a nice cleaning.

It's a gorgeous piece... I love it. And March 28th is my birthday... :)

Thank you so very much, DrFluffy! How ironic is that! :D
