    I know nothing about this antique trunk, I saved it from being thrown in the dump and now I Love it! Please if anyone has any info would be appreciated. The last two picture are of the other trunk I have posted that I saved also. I couldn't fit all pictures in the other post.

      Hello, This is a cross Slat round top trunk (some people call them dome tops ,the manufacturers however did not.)the slat clamps on this trunk have a Patent date March 16 1880 by C.A. Taylor
      The unique latches with the diamond shaped hole also are patented by C.A.Taylor
      July 9 1872 and I believe were used until the early 1880s. It has a nice floral pattern embossment ,one of many patterns of the time period.much luck with it, thanks for saving it from oblivion.
