This little Ausf. 226 caused quite a stir in the "Loetz World". It is a mini vase or salt........I say salt. Because some people had never seen one there was a multitude of opinions from "wonderful rare find" to "must be a fake". I'll keep it and go with "rare find".

P.S.---- I was contacted by a man who has a matched set of six of these in the original presentation velvet lined box with the name of the retailer on the cover from Munich, Germany. He says definately circa 1925.
Frank, As soon as the pictures of your sweet little Ausf 226 circulated, my comment was "rare find!" Very nice. I would love to see pictures of the set that the collector in Germany has! Can you post them?
