    Yet another item I inherited. It's a very beautiful vase, about 12" in height. There are images of training monks, but that I all I know about this piece. It's so intricate and very beautiful!

      I uploaded the photo of the bottom of the vase, unfortunately there was a hole cut out to make it into a lamp (prior to my Grandmother acquiring this piece). I don't think we are able to see any sort of mark on the base :(

      You have a very nice looking piece. The style is called Kyoto Satsuma ware, and if you look online, there are many available for sale, and that have sold so you can get an idea of value, and to learn more about them. The market in these is not strong right now.
