Thought I would post this for my 500 th post on CW.....

How can you tell I was digging in a box here with *smoking* related things....LOL. This was my Mom Pipe for smoking. I know she only smoked it a few times, and I was just a little girl. So probably from around the early 1960's ( or so ). Ladies pipe with paste costume jewelry stones around it. You had to be Classy too!! Says "Made in London, England" and also the number # 511 on the one side. On the other side says FALCON plus some numbers. There is also a logo (Falcon wing maybe?). NO clue on the type of wood it might be made of. Looks like one of the stones were glued back it -- but that amazing that it STILL has ALL of its stones. Like I said, was not used too often...but I do remember seeing my Mom and Dad both pipe smoking every now and then. Seldom, but they did. They were both cigerette smokers.

    ~ ~ ~ ~ Hope you enjoy my 500th Post!! ~ ~ ~ ~

I know I have enjoyed sharing my family things, and collectibles with you! Gonna try to do some research on this and see what else I find. IF you know the wood, let me know - as I have no clue!!

Found SOME info just now, but not much on a ladies:

Congrats....The big 500 ! Well, women did use cigarette holders so why not a pipe. You would think the heat from the bowl would loosen the stones. Maybe over time but like you said it was little used. Cool !
