We have had a pair of these vases for more than 20 years and don't know too much about them. I was hoping someone would have an idea of who the manufacturer might be.
I do know that the vase has a small trade mark on the bottom and is stamped .925 sterling silver. There also a number 43965 stamped below the sterling mark. They stand about 13" tall and aprox. 5.5" at the widest point. They are beautiful vases and we love them, but would like to know about them.
Thank you,
David

Hi. The style of your vase is art nouveau and not art deco. Art nouveau movement precedes art deco. Try and describe what the stamp is on the bottom or try and take a photo of it. That is definitely the key to finding out who made your vase and possible value.
If the words Sterling are on the piece, then its a safe bet the vases are British or American...I suspect the latter, maybe Gorham? Add a photo of the marks. This would help with any additional attribution.
