1) stripes pink with thorn handle - some say Welz - to Kralik
2) blue mottled spatter basket youve seen but I just love! Some say Welz-Murano
3) Ox blood pink stripes Welz with other Welz or who knows whom
4) The above head shot of the blue mottle spatter flower shape..just divine

THANK YOU! What a wonderful collection of Welz Art Deco decors.....my favourite glass of all but so difficult to find in the UK.
I think the first is Welz.....decor Zig Zag Lines, showing me they made that shape.
The lovely blue one.....I have one with the same shape rim.....decor the same as one of Ian's Welz vases.
I do have a basket in Welz Vertical Lines, though not Art Deco colours.
Such fun to find someone else with baskets and Welz baskets too!

I don't know about the baskets but the vases are all Welz other than the big pink one at the back in pic 3. I have a number of similar baskets - which I know are not all that popular - some say twee - but I think under-appreciated. They have their own appeal, don't they? I must say I *feel* they are Czech but with no evidence!
Of course, the basket in pic 3 is in a Welz decor.

I've got loads more but these seem to be the most elegant of them all. The blue one in particular with not just the thought around the mottled colour but just look at that flower shape from the head shot. How could one call that twee...lol..but you're right, they are underrated. But if you're going to honour a collection you simple must honour what the manufacturer was trying to say. Yes Fran, well worth the snuck in.
Ian I think it's Welz that big one at the back. It has the most amazing addition of pink with grey almost looking blue. It's lovely, everyone who visits remarks on that one.
I just love them. But I also love them at reasonable prices. They are creeping up. I'd like to get the red one of the blue I've seen but I was ill and missed it. Maybe Ian has an idea...talk soon :)
