This is a Daily Planner that's made of bone or ivory I'm not really sure how to tell them apart. The front and back is extremely smooth I'm not sure if the metal is silver or something else. Someone told me it might of been used by a civil war officer and if so that's pretty cool but if not it's still neat. If anyone knows the age, where it was made/from or anything else please tell me I would love to know! ????
Who ever did own it had Sunday's off apparently. ;o) Who would that exclude?

Well I saw a few on Google images and none had Sunday. I kinda think because it has some age that it was back when Sunday was still gods day so they probably didn't really need to plan anything on Sunday.
PCM, great item and I agree with your conclusion that Sunday is a day of rest. According to Morning Glory Antiques & Jewelry, you have a Victorian "aide memoire" and the pages are celluloid.
Go to the middle of the page and see two like yours, "VICTORIAN aide memoire with silver latches and cartouche" and VICTORIAN aide memoire with silver latches and cartouche, engraved "Julia"

Well they didn't say the one I have has celluloid pages the different one in the middle does. And I don't think the pages in mine are celluloid. But thank you for showing me that page

Without provenance, it is hard to say if it was used by a Civil War officer.
These are perfectly acceptable in a display of Civil War era items, but would call the Civil War tag "seller hype".
