This is an unusual piece of pottery !!

    7" across x 2.5" h
In A green/Brown splatter type pattern,
The base is unglazed & white with the impressed marks - 1112. B
    I'm lost as to what it's for !! A pot stand ??

Ikebana bowl? Base doesn't look Japanese though. Love the glaze and shape!

I'm picturing crackers and some mayo-heavy 1960s dip in the middle. ;)

Ikebana is a form of flower arranging, but not as we would know it!
They often use unusual shape containers.
