This is a very large porcelain sign for S & H Green Stamps. it's something like 2 ft tall [it's at the nursery]. a very cool, vintage sign! this was given to me by my friend who has given me several other excellent, old signs in the past. i really like this one!

I remember getting these stamps from the local grocery store. They could be redeemed for merchandise out of a Green Stamp Catalog or in my case, we had a local Green Stamp Redemption Store.

i remember putting green stamps into those little books, although i had no idea what it was for. thanks pw-collector and ttomtucker - and everyone else for the 'loves'!
found one of these same signs yesterday, a little too pricey to bring home though.......
