This clock was taken from a surrendured German U boat. The number of the boat being unknown. The clock is made by Junghans, and is the type used in the radio room of the submarine. The numbers and second incriments are painted with a phosphorescent paint which glows in the dark. This was done in case the lights were to go out under an attack, the clock would still be visible. It has the Kriegsmarine acceptance mark, that being an eagle over an M, the M standing for Marine. This is a very rare clock, for most are at the bottom of the ocean.
