This vase comes from the 1970s.It was made in Zabkowice glassworks in Dabrowa Gornicza,Poland.According to information from the seller I trust, the vase is designed by one of the Drosts couple, who were working for the factory: Jan Sylwester Drost or Eryka Trzewik-Drost and the name of the model is "Oculus".
I think its performance is quite interesting: the inner part is ribbed and outer surface is ridged or waved ( I don't know if it is a proper English word). What is more,I don't know either if it's a result of blowing in a mould or it was finished somehow manually.I'd be grateful if somebody could speak on the point.
    Thanks for looking:)

What a very interesting and complex design....a bit like Escher from some angles.

I've never heard about Escher,so I googled... and what a surprise! On Friday I was on an exhibition of Marek Dzienkiewicz,Polish painter, professor at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and his painting has a lot in common with Escher.Compare : https://www.pinterest.com/pin/507499451730632560/

This is really interesting how artists inspire each other or how art develops independently towards the same.

Such a fantastic design, and the optics of it are wonderful.
I never knew of the Drosts or even Zabkowice glassworks until my vase was identified here on CW.
