I think the concept of a Pacific island goes well with this vase.
Island Craft is one of Narumi's brand names.
A standard Sanyu/Narumi form with the ribs and daisy shaped rim (does that shape have a proper name?).
The blues in the glass have been accentuated with gold and silver sheets - Aya Kon as it's called. Just looks like clear sea water over sand doesn't it?
