This piece is a complete mystery to me. I first thought looking at the finish it was pottery but when held to the light, it s a beautiful amethyst. As most of you know, it is really hard to photograph given the changing colors. The first picture is with flash, the second without. No marks. The surface of the golden color is pitted, which to me looks as though that was the effect they were going for. I would love help with this piece, both design and attribution. it is about 6 inches tall.

Its Awesome... I like these Biscuit pieces...I have two that I will post here soon...but I love this décor....if it ever needs a new home let me know :)

I am not sure...but to me its Kralik like...but who knows?

I have no idea who made this, and can not remember having ever seen a piece like this before....... but the décor is fabulous, and was extremely difficult to execute this well.

In my opinion, it could be Kralik. But I found the same piece in the publication: "Jugendstilglas Sammlung H.R. Gruber - Mittelrheinisches Landesmuseum Mainz - 1976" page 102 pict. 149. Each image is labeled as Carl Goldberg, referring to "Pazaurek o. J., 119 S. Fig. 128".
I still have the same piece in my collection included at Wilhelm Kralik.

Thanks so much for the information larksel. Of course I my first question was whether it was even Bohemian, but opinion seems to be that it is, just don't know the attribution. Thanks again.

Hello, I recently acquired an identical biscuit jar, a different lid. I've did some research and believe it to be by Carl Goldberg, Haida.
I found the identical pattern listed as such on the following site: http://www.madforglass.com under Haida/Steinschounau.
You have some great looking glass, thanks for sharing.

Forgive me for being late to this party - for what it's worth, I have the Pazaurek reference that Ales mentioned, and the photo shown is a piece with a similar motif, but very different in a couple of ways that are significant. I don't think this citation is sufficient to say that this is a Goldberg piece. I can send you a scan if you like - my email is warren.galle@gmail.com
