These are just some of the dozen or so pristine examples of what the landmarks of "Woodhaven" Brooklyn New York looked like on Long Island. Showing above is the the golf club, the Brooklyn Manor train station, Diamond Avenue, and the public school, from the collection of these vintage post cards I have. All pictured in Woodhaven Long Island. Why my family had all of these postcards is beyond me. But it sure is cool to see what a change from early 1900's Long Island N.Y. looked like in comparison of the present day. Actually it looked way better back in the day, don't you think? Plus what I can't get over is that all of these postcards are still in "picture perfect" shape today.
