I picked this beautiful Japanese Shin-hanga print but can't find any information on this piece. Extreamly well done print signed and numbered. If you have any information on this piece it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Signed ?? Zen or Len ??

I would say someone of Chinese hertiage, as by the writing (print number) it appears to be that way. Having viewed many simple chinese printing of plain old number -- it seems Chinese make their printed number like the 7 -5-6-9 like this.

I used to work at Racetrack for 20+ year, and when chinese bettors they would write down several numbers for bets............the number were (printed) just like this.

~ My own opinion of course, but seen a lot of printed numbers over a 20+ year career. That is clearly printed by someone of Oriental hertiage.

Your spot on A.Rose!!! That's exactly what I thought! The number writing is interesting and would make sense. This print has an Asian feel to it. What has thrown me off was there was no stamp or symbols by the name like in the blue print I posted earlier.

If this is an Asian print you would think Zen?...Right?

If it read Zen -- could that be the name of the work? Looks very Peaceful....LOL

Is it me, or in the last pic (at the right corner of the print) is there some very small black marks (intials) or is that just dust? They are very, vary small black marks....Looks like 2 letters...or are my eyes playing tricks on me??
