Another item from my desing glass series.
Yellow juice jug, height 205mm. Kasperi was hit serie in 70's.
Desing by Erkkitapio Siiroinen.
In this serie belongs to several different items like candlesticks, bowls, jug and glasses, vases...

Does it glow under a UV light?

Sure looks like it could Glow.
On Wayne's Page, it shows some glowing ( Kasperi candlesticks by Erkkitapio Siiroinen, 1966) so I was just wondering if yours did. See link below, scroll down it :

Well, i don't tested it with UV light. But never heard that Riihimäki made uranium glass, consciously.
But, never say never :)
They did produce it , JOE !!! I have one of the uranium Kasperi candlesticks. Rose is probably right about this one too ! It's GREAT !!!
I did some reserch and notice there is possibility that this yellow color cointains radium sulfate or uranium salt. I found also info that using of self luminous colors stopped 1963 in finland.
I have to sell this quickly :)

I used My own helpful Hint. When I first saw this post, I noticed in the photo (by the lower part of the handle) it looked to have a bit of *glow* under regular camera flash. So I asked you if it glowed?
In my helpful hint post a while ago -- regular flash MAY show some UV Glow

So with a Flash you can sometimes see a bit of Glow -- then after that I googled it, and found Wayne's info on this Glass Glowing to share with you

Lol....Just saying my own Post on " Uranium Helpful Hints".... Helped me to be able to Help You!! There was some Glow there in your pic using a regular Flash you posted here.
