Not sure what it is, it's about 12 inches long x 3/4 inch X 1\2 inch. It appears to have traces of John Deer green paint on it, the paint is not to noticeable in the photos. It might be part of a piece of farm equipment, on the half moon balls on each side, it appears the metal has had a lot of pressure applied from another metal part. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Never seen one like it, but I can tell you this: The trade mark is a company named Woodlings-Verona Tool Company. They made axes, hatchets, and railroad wrenches in the late 1800's and beyond. From the design with the unusual handle with the (what looks like wet griping lugs), and the fact it is John deer green, my best guess would be possibly a Hydraulic Fluid Spanner Wrench, Just my guess tho.

Nice Job RobH! So this is half of a 2 piece spike lifting set. The part shown grabs the spike, then a lifting bar, that has a split end, fits under the desired lifting ball on the tool shaft, for the correct leverage, and then pressure is applied using the rail as a fulcrum point to lift it out. Correct! As the spike rises, another bite can be taken with the next lower lifting ball. Thanks for showing this tool stullie as i learned something new, which is always a good day!
