This is the earlier version with the round pad buttons and was covered in leather -- green or pigskin.
The later version, 2930B, had square buttons and was called the Elite II and was vinyl covered -- green or white. Ref: BSP 503-200-103 Issue 4, 7/76. Both were available in rotary. There was also a 2931, Commemorative, with a metal case that could be engraved.
