I just picked this great Victrola up yesterday. I saw it in pieces as the dealer just brought it into the antique shop that I was in. She gave it to me cheap because she did not want to put it together.
It is a Model V3 and a serial number in the 3000s. It cleaned up very well and quite a conversation piece!
As you can see the horn is decorated like a flower with flowers around the boarder. This was done during the period by traveling painters who would do this for a fee. Quite striking and desirable!

Thanks! It may need a tune up so to speak. We have a friend who is really into this kind of stuff and I need to speak with him. It is nice when you find these old pieces with the decorated horns though.
