Seller sold as Bagley plate. I am not a collector of "depression" or uranium glass as they call it and this is my first piece of Bagley. Photos are sellers, will add some of my own shortly.....

I love the design, the pattern and the quality of glass seems very good too.

So Bagley, does anyone else collect, do you know my plate pattern or year and do you like it as much as I do ?

I note they are a Yorkshire company, opened in 1871

I've looked at a few photos, could it be roses and leaf plate?

Hi Anne! You don't mention the size. We have the same plate in an 8" size. In the clear area in the middle of the plate in raised letters is "Made in England". Nice green color on these plates. RER(BOB)

oops sorry Loumanal. I would have sdaid its about 12 inches by 9? Roughly....isnt it a beautiful plate, especially under the light. The glass is so milky and a beautiful pattern without light. Thats part of the reason I don't collect Uranium glass because its limited in detailed work. But the Bagelys are irresistable. Just like Frans too with that dainty work. I'll have to get one of those. But what silly prices things are at the moment...

Hi Anne. Another beauty! I've had a few bits of uranium green Bagley in my time. They have some gorgeous patterns. I've not seen this one before. I love the wavy edge. I didn't know uranium glass was limiting in detail. Do you know why that is?

hi Fran Thanks for the Love. It's more so its limited in the lack of "colour" unless youre shining a torch in it eyes! Rather plain was what I meant. But this Roses and Leaf pattern has a lot going for it. I'd not seen yours before, I think its beautiful and I'll have to try and see if I can get one.
Hope all the family are well.
I'll write when I get back from QLD :)
