My father purchased this 8inch tall porcelain statue that is decorated in gold on the belt, book edges, arm medallions and waist medallions. when he was stationed there in the US Navy at the end of WWII. I have searched multiple web sites and have been unable to find a hallmark even close to that which appears on the bottom, nor can I find a similar statue for sale anywhere. If anyone has any kind of clue about this statue or can tell me anything about it, I would be extremely grateful.

Jim, since you are such a wealth of knowledge, I have to ask. Do you have any idea of when this would have been made? (1850-1900?). What would you call this figure (a priest?). If I were to list this item on eBay, what should I ask and what should I be willing to take for it? I hate to take advantage of your good nature, but in all the years I've had this statue, you are the first person who could actually tell me anything about it.
      Thanks ever so much!

Jim, Thanks again for your knowledge and expertise. Is there somewhere other than Ebay I can list this item? Ebay hasn't produced any results at all.

      Thank you again,
      Curt Haufe
