    As much as I like to dig bottles....I cheated here. I found this for $3 today at a local thrift store :) Just couldn't resist

    From what I gather it's around 1884 and I think this is a pontil bottle? Can someone verify or correct me please?

      There is no pontil, this bottle was blown in a mold.
