Emeralds are by far my favorite stone. I have always loved them and have several pieces of men's jewelry with them incorporated into the piece/pieces. I remember a movie I saw where there were some people smuggling emeralds out of Colombia South America. "Green Ice" I think was the name. I know it's the name of my favorite stones. "Green Ice Rules" The ring above is a piece from the mid 1940's.

Congrats to a Lucky Guy,
Dottie
Thank you so much Dottie for those kind words. I really like the "old stuff". Way more detail in smaller caliber rings. Only the expensive "big stuff" nowadays has the detail like this older jewelry does. I've been meaning to drop you an email but things have been crazy here with my eBay thing, my regular business, which has picked up of late, thank God. But I'll try to write later tonight or in the day tomorrow. Heck, I think I only posted one thing today. That's a record low for me. lol Thanks again for your beautiful comment.
