My name is Donald Reed. My father brought this piece home for my mother in 1957. I recently aquired it after the passing of my mother and would like to know any information you might know about it. I am not sure of the type of metal it is made out of or where it came from and what the statue might be worth! Any info you might have would be greatly appreciative! Thanks.

Donald, could we get a pic of the bottom, and it looks like there is some writting on the base, can you get a good shot of that...short of being able to touch it and all....is it magnetic? any marks at all ?
Here are the pics u requested... the statue its self is not magnetic, but the sword is. As you can see the only thing on the bottom is green felt. I didn't see any writing on the base, alothough it does look like there might have been something there in the past. I hope this helps... by the way... i was wondering if i could remove the felt without taking away from the value (if any)? Also, the statue weighs close to 40 - 50 lbs! again any info will help! Thanks,
Donald Reed
