    Pinocchio and his best pal Jiminy Cricket! Produced by Knickerbocker in 1939. A Disney classic! Who can forget that scarey donkey transformation scene? *shudder* Faced with the prospect of lookin' like a jackass....I'll take the strings any day!

    Curious Note: I have looked at many online pictures of this same Knickerbocker Pinocchio...and I have yet to see another doll with eyes painted to look to the side (in this case, to the right) rather than straight ahead. Anyone out there who can explain this?
