Help Solve... Mysterious Kerchief or Hanky: 1939 Music Sheet with Romantic Figures

I need help on this mysterious 1939 kerchief, scarf, or hankie. Approx: 21 in x 21 in. There has got to be a story behind this piece but I could not find much . In the center is a music score and lyrics from NINON and LEO MANTIN of Moulin Rouge Fame; also the scarf is surrounded by famous lovers or couples, but it's mainly about Edward VIII and Wallace Simpson. There are illustrations of famous lovers such as Anthony and Cleopatra, Napoleon and Josephine, Dante and Beatrice, Romeo and Juliet, Abelard and Heloise (?) and several images including military figures who I don't recognize. I'm curious about the music too. Copyrighted 1939. Also, there are many obscure images, words and lettering throughout that adds to the mystery. Any guesses? Thx!
