    1980s Raleigh Vektar BMX ... When this bike came out it was the dream of many a young kid in the 80s, staring at it in the magazines and catalogues me and my friends would have done almost anything to get one. On the forum I was told that this bike would have been the equivilant of about £600.00. This is for a bike which seems like its made from cast iron it is SO heavy, but the styling and centre console was where it was really at.

    The LCD display reads how fast, how long and how far you have been. It has a built in radio with preset channels (whilst cruising...). A sound generator with 8 sounds and even space for any new devices that (were not)ever made. The control unit is on the handle-bars.

    "ICI AMX 9 was one of the strongest plastics known to science" (quote) and they did tests like freezing the electronics and thawing them out again to prove they would still work and even "simulated tropical rain to ensure the electrics all functioned okay. A cool bike which I have wanted to own for a while, I will very lightly restore it only..
