Thank you. But could you maybe shed some more light on the age and sculptor perhaps? It has a little lead token hanging on it, but what's stamped on it is unclear. I think it says "made in Venice or France", I can only see the 'CE' at the end. At the bottom it also has some writing, but I can't make out what it says.

It's a contemporary copy of an ancient Greek wine pitcher (oenochoe), as identified in the first post.

So it probably says "made in GREECE."

Maybe the writing that you can't make out is in Greek.

The identity of the individual potter is probably not going to be easy to determine, or necessary.

Thank you so much, canyonroad. Would it be worth anything? The writing at the bottom is in English, but it's very dull. It's says something like, "copy of classical...handmade... " and that's all I can make out.

I have a very similar piece which I'll post tomorrow. Mine is a reproduction of a Corinthian pitcher, handmade somewhere in England Circa 1960s. It's heavy and has a small metal handmade tag on and writing on the bottom. Maybe they're even by the same artist? :))
