I think it is mahogany. Top drawer is hinged, folds down to make a small desk or secretary. Inside there are some small horizontal shelves. The interior center has a small squarish door with a knob that opens. I bought it used in 1971 in a thrift shop for $25.00 in Huntington WV. 43" wide. Almost as tall as an average front door.
Can anyone identify this piece? I'd love to know more about it!
