This book came with maps and correspondence from the Imperial War Memorial. On the inside of the book, is an origonal picture of the troops and sketches of maps.
The pages have a penciled account on certain paragraphs throughout the book. I am assuming it is the gentleman's account of the war. He corresponded with the Imperial War Memorialin 1961 supplying them with sketched maps of locations.
It's a very moving book and I feel very fortunate to have this book in my possession.
