Can anyone tell me the value of this rocker. This was my grandmothers and I know she had it in 1963 possibly before then.

Hi, my grandmother had one similar to that. Definitely the same shape, hers had inlay or decal up the back and across the top. It was beautiful and very smooth. She too had it before or around 1963. The wood was maple. I have always wanted one for myself as it was the most comfortable rocking chair ever.
I too would like to know more about it. Wish I could have been more helpful. I'm glad you posted the photo.
I'm almost sure that your chair is Tell City Maple. I have one and it is the most comfortable rocker ever. I have a friend who has a dining room table with matching chairs that are the same exact style.
