I have had this egg for about 20 years but don't know anything about it. My mother got it from a friend and gave it to me when she down sized her home. It's about 22" tall without the base and 41" in circumference. There are no marking on it that I can find. It seems to be a quality piece and hand painted but I really don't know a thing about it.

Think its chinese chrysanthemum pattern as for age i dont know ..

I cannot find any markings on the egg. I will attempt to clean the base and post a pic today.

The base is original to the egg as far as I know, it is a perfect fit and has always been with the egg. The base does not have any markings.
