Emerald Green (Acrylic?) and Brass candleholder set.

I have owned these candlesticks since purchasing them from a garage sale in 1998. They are really quite unique pieces, as I have only seen them twice online since my purchase.

Neither of these pieces has a stamp or engraving anywhere on their body - interior or exterior. Curiosity has finally gotten the best of me, and I'm wondering if anyone knows the maker and potential era of production?
