What another great day of Vintage finds. This is a 1938 Remington Noiseless Model 10 Typewriter, All the parts are there, all key strokes work, just need a little restoring and cleaning, A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!! I think this is so RARE, I have not found any for sale and any Auction Sites!!
Anybody who might know the value of this??
Thanks

Oh man I'm a sucker for old typewriters too. Beautiful
These machines aren't rare; I own several myself. They were sold as Remington and also Underwood machines-built under license. Why weren't all machines made as noiseless? Because they were awful to type on-mushy, rather like typing into a sponge. Look on EBay and Etsy and you'll find examples. The portable models are much better liked than these very heavy office models.
