Don't know anything about these, can someone enlighten me? Also, have never have seen any with the reddish color as in these bases. Is that unusual, and when were these made? THANKS for any info!!! Vickie

Tiffin #15028 diamond optic watermelon goblets. Watermelon is the name often given for the green and pink color combination.
Hi! The pink bases with the rest of the vessel URANIUM green (that's why it is UV reactive), make these fabulous pieces popularly known as "Watermelon Glass". Tiffin and other "Elegant Glass" makers of the early 20th century made such pieces--that's their era. I imagine they are on the delicate side. I didn't look at the pattern--yet, but will now! They are contemporaneous to depression glass, maybe just a wee older, but a lot finer .
Okay, they pattern a little difficult to seem but they look like they are "Hex" or possibly "thumbrint"--put "hex elegant glass" into a search engine; also do that for "watermelon glass" and I thing your eyes will be opened!
