It's a guy thing and aaaLakeside Storage has never had a break in for the 13 years we've been open, but just having a cool 1942 WWII 1/2 Trac on the grounds ought to look pretty intimidating once we get the 50 Cal machine gun mounted up top. We are looking for a real or fake gun & will just enjoy the machine as it is, until we can find the cool stuff to ad to it. We have been looking for a WWII Tank & 1/2 Trac for some time now and the other day while we were out picking up a cool gas pump in Idaho we got a call from a friend asking if we were still hunting for a 1/2 Trac as he has a friend up the road that has one for sale!!! Really??? Who has a 1/2 Trac
In their yard? We got texted a few pix and immediately had to have it and made our deal without ever driving it. Then today we went up and took it for a test drive, since it was only about an hour away from Where we live. Was that ever cool!! It will be delivered in the next few days and we will have another awesome addition to our collection of cool guy things. Id drive it but it's hard on the tracks & would be even harder on my old carcass. While hunting gas pumps yesterday we actually found a beautiful old 1934 Packhard dual side mount sedan that had been completely restored about 20 yrs ago and it was in an old barn because the original owner had died a few years ago and his only relative lives back East. We called the new owner and are dealing on the car as we write! The fun is still in the Hunt! Did I mention that we found a Tokheim 36B in the shed with a short Wayne 70 curbside pump and bumped in to Glen Beck and his family as we went in to our favorite hamburger joint? He's a good friend but a long ways from his home in Dallas so that was a real surprise for all of us.. It was a great day hunting & I didn't mention a lot of other cool things we also found as I will save those stories for another day.

I just saw Glen Beck!! I seen him in concert in St Augustine Florida:) He is touring with ZZ Top and they put on one hell of a show. Great 1/2 track!! Now you will be able to go anywhere on your excursions for treasures LOL!! I love your stories and enthusiasm!! It's great to see there are others like me who are just bursting with excitement on a daily basis. Happy hunting my friend:)
