This was an advertising knife made by the Camillus knife co,the pattern is called a champagne pattern, some had more than one blade but the always had an opener and corkscrew,a few had cigar cutters built into them also.Syracuse was a stamp that Camillus used in the 1930s,Camillus also imported knives from Poland with that stamp in 1975-76,this knife is from the 1930s.

I just found one that is exactly like this except it has a different advertisement on it. Add for WM. LEWIS & CO
SAN FRANCISCO-LOS ANGELES CALIF and on other side it says
      KENTUCKY WHISKEY
      IN BARRELS.
Is there anywhere you know of I can find out more about it?

Jason,I just saw your comment,no it's not MOP,more like mother of toilet seat, actually I think they're plastic, these must have been made pretty cheap.

Jim Gaddis,I'm sure they were made for a lot of different companies,is yours stamped at all?If so what is the stamp on the tang of the blade? If it's Camillus or in the case of mine Syracuse which was a stamp that Camillus used in the 1930s,there's a lot of info on that company online and in books,Bladeforums would be a good place to start, they have a Camillus subforum on there. Some of the Camillus guys hang out at All About Pocket Knives,AAPK for short, you should be able to find either of those forums using the name in a search bar.

Yeah mine seems like it's probably plastic also. It says Camillus Cut Co Camillus N.Y.
Thanks for the info I'll look at those sights.

Camillus was a big company at one time, they actually just went out of business a few years ago but they made knives for about 100years,I have quite a few and usually keep any decent ones that I find.
