These photos of the purser's office on the SS Ticonderoga only begin to show the classiness of this amazing ship and the Shelburne Museum near Burlington VT where it has been preserved. Fifty years ago the ship was lugged on railroad tracks out of Lake Champlain to its current location. The woodwork alone is a thing of beauty. Just one of many great exhibits at this incredible museum - a must see if you're in Burlington.
Note also the very cool standing desk.
