    This is a brass compass possibly used in WWI,these have been reproduced,so I'm not 100% sure but the patina suggests that it is and the newer ones have a nice polished finish.

      This one has no markings,not even a name.When I got it I did research it some and found a company name that made them,I don't remember anymore what it was but if it's like most military items they were made by more than one company.
