There isn't any serial numbers or markings anywhere, All it says is "Trade Mark" and some white lettering its hard to make out but it says "MPAN" I've searched Google and can't find anything like the one i have and I'm curious to know what it is.

Trade mark could be the manufacturer & that looks like Japan to me.

Commonly referred to as "Egg Beaters". Yours looks a like 1960's vintage to me, and most of them stored drill bits in the handle. Have you tried to unscrew the handle about 2 inches from the end, where you see the faint line? These are still a handy little drill for small jobs in the house, such as hanging pictures, curtain rods, etc.
