    The propeller is laminated oak (at least my prop is)
    Some were manufactured of laminated cherry.
    Not many left...
    I fortunately snagged this before the interior designer got the chance to cut it down to the hub...
    And mount a clock in it...!
    As this is mounted on the wall, you are looking at the back side of the propeller.
    The Logo decals had worn off the front side, due to use.

      This item is a holy relic ! I suggest you view woodenpropeller.com A great site for research and prop related chat. I think your prop is from a Curtiss pusher airplane as it is turning the wrong way for a Curtiss Jenny. The decals were only on one side they didn't wear off the back. Never refinish it ! It's value sits mostly in the original varnish. Please keep us posted of updates........
