In 2007 my Grandmother passed away and I decided to keep some of her furniture that included Brown Saltman and Lane. These chairs however, I have never been able to put a design to. I took to the internet best I could and for a moment I thought they were part of the Milo Baughman collection. I was then told that he only used a round plinth base on his chairs and as you can see, these are 5-star base.
Seeing that my Grandparents always bought quality stuff, I couldn't imagine these chairs being anything less.
Does anyone know who designed these chairs?
There are no tags anywhere and I certainly cant remember if any where ever on them. I'm 42 years old and remember these chairs as far back as I remember and these were in my Grandparents house before I was even born.
I was thinking of getting them reupholstered as they are quite dirty ... and that bright, Yellow flower design ... groovy!
