Can anyone tell me anything about this button? It is made of metal, and is 1 1/2" in diameter. My aunt has left me a vast collection of buttons and I also need to find a very reputable person with a lot of knowledge of buttons to get appraisals. I live in Syracuse NY, and I just don't know who to trust as I need to sell them. If you know of reputable people I would appreciate if you could head me in the right direction. Thanks, Joanne

      Very nice!
This is screaming Europe to me any way. Is that where she or her family was from?

      Hi Di,
I wish I was from Europe. I am from Syracuse, NY. My family has always lived here and some in Auburn, NY which is about 30 miles away from me. Thanks for the info. I am going a bit crazy as she left me 100's of buttons. Some she has on cards, others in bottles. The more interesting ones are on the cards. Once I get a chance I may post some cards on this site to see if anyone can help me. I am so overwhelmed with the research, and really don't have the time to dedicate at the moment due to other priorities. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks again & have a blessed day!!! Joanne

      Joanne,
Is it me or is the back loop soldered on?
