This I found at the tip!! :-) £1. :-)
I think it's a Holmgaard vase , red/orange from their Carnaby range . it has a label on the base as in pics that someone has wrote --

This vase is an awesome shape and at 9 3/4" h x 3 1/2w & red makes a great display piece ...
The inside is white..
I think its a 60s/70s piece in A1 condition ..

VINTAGE FROM THE 1960S & it has a very very slightly done signature = P STROM 69 - on the base...

Fantastic!! A truly wonderful hooped glass vase.
I think this is a Per Olaf Strom design for Alsterfors.
Any engraving on the base? Might be difficult to see and may just say POS.
Check out Ebay for an idea on what this is worth - you will be pleasantly surprised.
I looked it up and am pretty sure it's Alsterfors.
Might also say P O Strom but may not be signed.

Racer your a star !! A very bright one :-) your spot on with that i-d ... I had a good look and the signature was under the label the exact same as the one in your link .. What a cool find ! Can't believe the prices of this vase ..
